We've gotten the rat comment so much - especially from family! I know they think Lucy is cute and they are just jealous so I keep my mouth shut.
But I don't understand total strangers saying things to be hurtful that aren't true. How rude and I'm sorry they felt they had to do it so you could hear.
There does seem to be a faction of people out there that have great disdain for small dogs like yorkies (guess they all think we are Paris Hilton). I see deragotory comments about small dogs on another board I frequent.
Last time I took Lucy to the dog park, one couple was leaving and I overheard them say they were afraid their dog might 'step on it'. And I was in the small dog park.
Lucy is the sweetest dog with the best temprement. If they are so dumb to think all that matters is how big she is - then I have no use for them.
Neither should you.
