Thank you for the reply! I have also read that darker blood is more serious, which is why I'm worried. The blood wasn't exactly black, but it wasn't the typical red you associate with blood. He's up to date with his shots, hasn't been around other dogs (aside from meeting a few during his walk), and hasn't had any bones (although I worry that he might have taken something he shouldn't have).

Still waiting for a response from the vet... and Biscuit is still acting like pooping blood is nothing out of the ordinary, so that at least makes me feel better. Thanks again
