I too would freak
if I found a tick on Zhoie...hate those things.
My vet recommended Frontline Plus when she was a puppy and we put it on monthly. Seems to work just fine, never had a tick yet (knock on wood).
This year I had TruGreen treat just my fenced in area of our backyard too. They said to keep her off the grass for couple hours until dry...but I did'nt take her back out there all day, lol.
I would definitely find something to use though, I've heard they can get sick from ticks, like tick fever or something.
