I have taken that into consideration, but I do feel the important thing is to get him to a vet asap for an initial assessment and to, at the very least, get him eating or on IV Fluids. From many previous threads I've read, it can take a few days to get a Rescue involved, and I don't know if this little one has that kind of time.
And I don't think it's a good idea to call a rescue yet, as we really don't know if this is a scam or not, just guessing that rescues don't have the time or personnel to investigate....
