I am sooooo glad you went to the ER vet! And thrilled they gave this baby some meds! I am glad he is on call. That will be best if you do need the assistance tonight. Poor little thing.
Your regular vet released her without pain meds? I think you should find a new one for sure. It was unprofessional and unethical in my opinion.
