 We are going through the coughing also
I brought Deisel home on Christmas Eve and on Christmas night he started the coughing and almost like a cat trying to cough up a hairball sound. We took him to the vet on Monday 12/26 and waited to get in. He was given Amoxi drops and a cough medicine. Today (1/2/06) we went back and he was given a refill of the cough medicine and another antibiotic. The vet went over the trachea propblem but said that since he is so young that he didn't think that the trachea was the problem. This is the first time that I have visited this site and to read everyone's messages it sounds just like our house. Getting up all night, coughing, meds and visit after visit to the vet. This is our first puppy ever and all this has scared me a little. I hope that everyone's little ones get better.
