Around midnight last night, my neighbors home was destroyed by a fire. It was scary how quickly everything was lost. Most devastating was the loss of two of their dogs, a golden retriever and a lab. Their sweet little yorkie is spending some time here with me while they are looking for lodging and trying to get their head around things.

This family has been through heck and back. I don't know if you remember my thread about another neighbor of mine shooting a dog. That dog was the lab that was lost last night. No family should have to go through all of this.

If you are so inclined, would you offer up a prayer of comfort for them?
