I was thinking it may be a good idea to take it slow, though, and see how your daughter does with Pixie. Sure, it's fine to look for that future show pup, but don't rush into anything. One step at a time. What if your daughter finds out that this is not for her? You did say you are interested in showing for yourself, so that's cool.
I am not a breeder. I expect that there is a ton of work in showing any dog, and I have heard that keeping a pup in show condition takes a lot of time and energy, and money. I wish you all the best in your dream, and good like finding your future champion!
