We have two french mastiff's and Izzy who weighs 3.5 pounds. Our Mastiff's are 5 years old and very careful around Izzy. They have grown up with cats and are wonderful with Izzy. She loves to play with them and they like to roll her around with their noses. I never leave them alone with her but wouldn't leave a large breed dog alone with my children either. They are wonderful with children just wouldn't be very responsible of me to leave dogs that size alone with a child or smaller animal. Good luck to you.
