Yes, AKC inspects kennels. Once a breeder reaches a certain number of litters an AKC rep will come out and inspect the kennels. I live in LA and I know this kennel. Her friend, lives close to me and also raises all kinds of dogs. She has the same set-up as this lady. I purchased my maltipoo from her few years back before I ever knew anything about puppy mills and bad breeding practices. My mom now owns my maltipoo, luckily he is very healthy and happy.
