Those are the baby teeth and at 5 months old she should start to lose them any time now
The adult teeth are no where near as sharp because they have rounded tips.To get through the teething stage without needing miles of band aid (lol) I would get a very good/resistent chewing toy.If you baby choses to chew on your fingers and toes (which they ALWAYS do) give her the toy and try to draw her attention with it.To help with the teething its also a good idea to play tug o war with an old sock.My vet taught me this and it helps to loosen all of the baby teeth because they can get a good grip of it.Good luck!
