I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet little one. I know how much it hurts to lose your best friend of 17 years. It has been 4 years since I lost my best friend of 17 years and a day doesn't go by without thinking of her. It took a while for the pain to subside, but it did and I can now think of the happy times that we had together. I hope time will also lessen the pain for you. In the meantime, it is OK to cry. How could someone not cry and feel sad when they lose a loved one of 17 years. Take care. Rest in peace, sweet little one.
