Default Backward sneeze (dry air / humidifier)?

If your yorkie has periodic backward sneezing or "hurfing" episodes, but otherwise remains playful and is eating well, then this is fairly common.

A backward sneeze does not cause any harm and does not have a cure.
However, factors contributing to it could be exposure to pollen, or if the dog's throat is dry.

I believe the recent drop in outside temperatures is also causing quite a drop in indoor humidity (cold windows act like dehumidifiers)

Since, we are having this sneezing problem with Sparkles, we have put a small humifier in her area and are running a larger one for the rest of the house. I'll let you know if it seems to help over the next few days.
