I agree, a lot of people tried to help, but when one is worried about their pup sometimes your thinking is a little off. I think she was just worried. If you are referring to me, yes I actually would respond exactly as I have to anyone, including a friend. In my opinion, to do otherwise would be a lie. I do not feel that I was "mean" or "sarcastic". I was honest. She does not have to listen to anyone; but I fear that her pup will suffer and perhaps even die if she does not listen. At least if something awful does happen, no one can say that good veterinary care was not suggested.
Based upon what little I can derive from her writings, I believe the OP is trying to treat her pup by searching on the internet. For me to support that in any way would be criminal.
Perhaps you can offer her some sage advice? Might be a bit more helpful than complaining about what others have offered as advice for this pup.
