Sorry I didn't see your post earlier, but to answer your question, a big YES, they do catch cold. When Sprocket came to live with us it was colder, 20 degrees colder, than he was used to. He was used to the desert and I didn't know very much about little dogs and their not very good "coats". Anyway, even though it wasn't cold, he caught cold, my vet said, "You wear a coat, he wears one", and he hasn't had a cold or me the expense,
since. Hope your baby DOES NOT have a cold cause they are miserable when they do have one and their's not much to be done about it. Just like ours.
