You don't mess with the DMV - they NEVER make mistakes. I wish you better luck in correcting their type than I had with mine.

When I moved back to Georgia and got my new driver's license my DOB was listed as "00" as in 1900. That would have made me 96 years old. I never noticed UNTIL a local cashier told me I was well preserved for my age .

When I went to the DMV to change it I HAD TO SHOW 2 FORMS OF PROOF of my correct birthdate. I jumped through those hoops and when I got my new and corrected driver's license, my DOB was "00" as in 1900. I let it slide until I got a letter from DMV stating that my driver's license would be suspended if I didn't have it corrected . So I had to go back through the hamster trail, with my trusted two forms of ID and deal with a grinning DMV employee -- she was very nice and in the end I did get my DOB corrected (she did it manually) and we both had a laugh at this well preserved 96 year old southern belle.
