With Layla we did 10 weeks, because after the surgery we had her in for rehab one day and the vet techs let her "scoot" out to us, WAY before she should have. So we added more crate rest just to be safe in case she did any more damage. But we'll never know. I know it seems like a long time but it is really for the best. Discs take a long time to heal.
I'm actually sitting here crying right now because it seems Layla might be having another flare-up, so I'm heading to Dodgerslist too now. We may be going back to crate rest.
