| My Yorkie is Sick! Advice My yorkie was flown in on a plane to me 3 weeks ago and ever since he got off the plane he does this breathing thing, it sounds like a grumbling in his chest, he also does this choughing sound from is stomach and then he will gage and then sneeze.
When he came home the first few nights he would just lie down, Then a took him to the vet and they put him on a medication called Chlor Palm 125 Suspension for 7 days after the first few day on the medication he started playing and jumping but he is still doing the thing I described in the beginning. Then I brought him back to the vet a week later and she gave him his second shot but he was still doing the same thing, The vet said to keep him on the same medication for 3 more days to see if he will get better. The last Friday he was not eating or drinking and not responding to my voice so I rushed him to the animal Hospital and she gave him fluids through an IV and put him on a diferent medication called (Clavamox drops 15ml) and he should take 0.25ml for 7 days, So far he has been on the medication for 4 days and it doesn't seem to be helping, He is eating and drinking and is very playful but the coughing and breathing has not changed, the vet she suggest x-rays of his chest and blood work, Anyone have any advice, I love my little Yorkshire, he is now 13 weeks old and soooo Cute!
Thanks,
