I called three other vets in my area today and no one would let me take him home same day. So I stopped by my regular vet and pleaded my case again. There are three vets in my regular office and the lady vet said she would let me take him home that night before they close. Yay! We have an appointment for Wednesday since she only works Tuesday and Wednesdays. It was this week or wait till next month. So we are on! Taking Thursday off from work. Glad I didn't give up on this
