| Dogs Roll After Flea Treatments I use Frontline which is for dogs up to 22 lbs. Your vet should be the one to distinguish the dosage amount. Now, this is very common what you describe. They just don't like that oily stuff on their shoulders. Recently I was told that it is recommended NOT to put the flea treatment on a CLEAN dog. The treatment works with the dog's natural oils. So you should put it on the dog at least a day or two after its bath and DO NOT BATHE for a few days after the treatment. I used to the same thing...bathe them and apply the treatment. WRONG WAY TO DO IT and I didn't realize it either. I was told the correct way by my vet and by the dog groomer. So now you can relax. |
