Apple did the same thing when I got her. We tried different kinds of bowls and everything. It got to where I had to hand feed her to get any thing down her. Spoiled I know! I figured it out tho. She doesn't like to eat on a tile floor. I have to put her bowl on the carpet and then she eats fine. And she perfers plastic bowls over the glass ones.
