When I first got Keoki at 6 months old he had never been on a leash. I live in NYC and had to walk him- when I would he would put on the breaks or just lie down- I was both frustrated and embarrassed ( you know NY'ers would all have something to say ) so I had a trainer come and help me- she had me buy a sense-ation harness online
Dog Harness, Dog Training Supplies | Sense-ible and Sense-ation Dog Harness - it was a miracle!!!!! I'm telling you it works!!!! When they get a bit older and used to walking with you you can switch to a regular harness now my furbutt always wants to go for walks
