The fact that you can snap him out and then cause one by making him lie still is very interesting clinically- in my mind it would rule out toxins.
A focal seizure btw, means that the seizure is focused or limited to one area (such as a particular limb) versus being generalized over the entire body.
Also, seizures, even focal ones, tend to be followed something called a postictal state- the pup either goes to sleep or appears disoriented afterwards.

Max is coherent when he's having an episode, so that's why i say i can snap him out of it. I feel I can get him to unfocus on whatever it is that he's been focused on. He stares before an episode. If i get him to stop staring and look at me or get him involved in something, he usually will.
