Ziva started swimming every day when it got too hot for walks, she really needs the exercise to keep her out of trouble!
Two weeks ago,we thought we would start out slow and hold her and let her doggie paddle around but she wiggled loose and just went for it! she can ride a foam board- great balance. This morning she jumped off it and started swimming!.
We taught her to swim to the steps automatically so if she fell in she can get to someplace she can stand up (she can't get out herself). Our pool is childproofed so she doesn't have access to it) She only swims for a few minutes (she is 6lbs and a little over a year old) Then I have to wash her off and warm her up.
