So, many of us go in blindly, not knowing that most vets are General Practitioners.....not knowing a good GP vet is not so entrenched with their ego and will inform you when a Specialist is needed and send you there. Thank goodness we recently switched to a vet who subscribes to this point of view. I was pleasantly surprised.
