LOL. OMG. I know how annoying they are. We had a day of NASTY wind/rain storms back in February, and a limb fell off the MASSIVE tree in our backyard, and took off the corner of the house. The next morning, every contractor in New Jersey was on our front steps "So very sorry for what [we're] going through." *sigh* ! However, we rent, so it's not like it really mattered anyway.
PS - I'm sooo with you on never owning a house. We lost our house in '07 when my mom became disabled, and now we're renters. I think even if I had all the money in the world I wouldn't own a house (unless I could pay for it right there, with no mortgage). It just seems like so much hassle and unnecessary stress!
