What you did is absolutely the right thing. Anytime that happens, she loses her favorite spot, being with you on the bed. See if you can coax your cat on the bed so your kitty doesn't become afraid of going onto the bed. Lots of petting should be given to your cat on the bed so they still associate good things with the bed.
We had the opposite problem, our kitty Pickles liked to swat at the pups. So she would lose her spot on the bed. |
