I saw this post come back up again and read my response and realized I have had them smaller at 12 weeks old. Recent one, smallest was 1 pound and 5 oz. at 12 weeks. I have had yorkies (several) that only grew to be 2 1/4 to 3 pounds as adults. I though better prefer adult weight of around 5 to 6 pounds. I think right now with all the popularity of celebrities with small size yorkies/toy breeds - the small size has unluckily become popular. But no matter the size - all yorkies are special.
