Default I love mid-woofing!

I remember my very first litter... my mentor had a family emergency, and had to go to FL. the day before 'we' were due ! So I was on my own, sort of, I had her on SKYPE, picture me holding the camera down and around my poop lil Mom...
I get nervous, that they didn't catch,
then, that they did! Are they eating enough, but not too much (don't want huge pups...
I start sleeping on the couch a few days before 'we' are due, and a few days after delivery.
I am less nervous once the delivery has started, at least for a while. I have experienced LOTS of different emergency's , and have managed them all, ok...
My dh asks all the time, "why do you do this to yourself?" lol
I don't think it gets any easier, other than experience helps you know if things are right / wrong, so you can make more informed choices. Call vet now / in the morning...
I would not trade it though, I love being a midwoof!
