I am of the understanding congential means.."born with it"...Legg Perthes is not present at birth ..shunts can also be accquired, but you are going to be hard pressed to get an insurance company to agree.
A cleft palate or heart murmur or a hole in the heart is congential, but things that come with maturing as cataracts or bad knees, allergies, chronic ear infections, early tooth loss, kidney disease is not IMO..those are problems that develop and many are genetic. |
