A couple more tips... A GOOD cut is #1 (not just a haircut) Vitamins - Prenatal vitamins are good Good shampoo/conditioner with color protectant (I believe you get what you pay for so I do go to Ulta to get my sham/cond but hubby has a ton of thick hair and he uses Suave - go figure!) Heat protectant for blow drying Root lifter For curly hair - use a diffuser and don't dry it all the way - use a curl activator and crunch your hair - use a pick - never brush For straight hair - instead of flat ironing - try using a curling brush (the heat isn't as direct as a flat/curling iron and it will still staighten out most of the curls) (looks like a curling iron except it has a brush) Don't keep your hair in a ponytail 90% of the time - it does pull on your hair
