Your baby sounds just like our Jax. He was on antibiotics from the time we got him at 8 weeks until he was I think 5 months or so? I can't remember exactly but it was a looooong time. He went through several antibiotics too when he had a respiratory infection & one point he even got worse (borderline pneumonia). We kept him on his meds until the prescription was gone and fed him some plain yogurt as well because we were told that will help as well. Our vet said even after he had finished his prescription it would be normal if he still coughed for up to a month & he did but he eventually got better.
I think overall it may have taken almost two months for him to get completely healed of the respiratory infection.
