what a horrible thing to happen MadDeDo - who could bash you over what you posted ? You told a personal experience. I do agree with you regarding all the personal things being used as excuses or whatever - I'm sorry for anyone dealing with health issues - but if they're healthy enough to be selling a puppy for hundreds (thousands) of dollars - that should be the focus......I've read some of the other 'posts' by the 'sellers' involved and was pretty amazed at all the personal problems discussed |
Thank you, and I TRULY hated to say that...but it's just not right. Of course it's different as a certainly don't see my dogs as "cars" or just part of a "business", BUT I feel that breeders have the responsibility to be just as professional as any other business owner and just don't feel it's right to use excuses from your personal life.
My heart is so heavy for Rose right now, she cried on the phone with me this afternoon telling me about it and she is just torn up. REGARDLESS of what caused his death (whether a genetic issue or not), the fact remains that Blu was sold on a strict show contract with a very visible open font that Stephanie (and her vet) knew about before he shipped. It was not mentioned or disclosed. Why hasn't she tried to fix it? Why has she ignored all contact until (of course) she posted on this thread today in response? It's just not fair to Rose, or to Blu...may he rest in peace...
