I have been letting Bogie's coat grow out. I keep his hair up in a band now that it is long enough. I put a bow in only on special occasions and I have more manly looking bows for him( Black and white checks and some that I have made and put football and sports theme buttons on) I think they look cute with their hair up. And I agree it others don't like it, it is their problem it is whatever you are happy with. DH was initially totally against putting his hair up but now he sees how cute he looks and doesn't say a word about it.
