Who's blaming her ? I think most who are posting about bloodwork are doing it so others will be aware of the risks of anesthesia especially with very small dogs.....and as I said - it isn't a guarantee but a precaution....

I always feel terrible when any pet doesn't survive a surgery - spay/nueter surgery is a risk we take but it doesn't help with the pain of a loss
