Has she continued to gain weight since you have had her? If so, I would wait alittle longer to see if she puts on more weight. I do agree though not to wait too long, What a difficult decision. Let us know what you decide. |
Thanks for the compliment on Brooklyn. I'd be worried about leaving her overnight. Most vets do not have anyone that stays the night so she'd be alone all night anyway. I'd insist on bringing her home with me even if before closing. I think you can monitor her better. As far as weight we got her at around 16 weeks old. She was 1.7 when we took her home. Since then she has gone up to 2.5 but that came steady and now nothing in a long time.
