I downsized mine this year and was just happy my Dad was able to be with us as this most likely will be his last.
My brother went through 50 some years of pictures and scanned them and out them on a disc and gave us each a disc with one of the pictures in a frame of my parents and us 4 kids at Christmas from about 1964. It was so special. My husband bought me sheepskin seat covers for my car and a dyson ball animal vacuum, which was totally unexpected as we agreed to downsize due to us both being retired now.
Christmas eve my birth son and his wife came over and we had a great evening and today my whole family (minus my Mom RIP) was at my house so it was a good Christmas but bittersweet. |
