Toby does this almost every time he's picked up. I'm not sure why but he has never seemed to be in pain. Maybe it's the effort of being picked up
Lola will pee/poop right on the sidewalk, in the middle of the road, with no qualms about it whatsoever. However, if she's in the yard, she does the usual search for the "perfect" spot, which seems like it takes forever on cold or rainy days
