Hmm.. I also saw the recipe online for the diet. I wonder if this is something I should hold off on trying until after the surgery? I am nervous to try anything new or different from what the drs have advised me since she has not had her surgery yet.

She has been doing much better at eating! I did have to syringe feed her last night b/c she was just too tired to eat lol But other than that, she has been doing wonderful.

She and her mom & dad loved her so much, i had to try everything. All things went well till she was 11 wks old, and she had a relapse of same LS. Vet said she wouldn't make it and did i want to put lots of $$ into her when it may not help. Well i knew we had to make a decision so i brought her home, with 2-3 different meds including one that made her hungry, and began hand feeding her again for 2 weeks. She did fantastic. Niece and parents have her...now she's 6 months old and doing great. We treat her as if she is a special needs child and she has not been back to the vet for any medical issue except shots, etc. So keep up the good work! Our miracle is georgeous...look... |
I am so glad that she made a recovery and can hopefully live a long and healthy life!
