Since it was half-dead, it probably didn't give a full sting. Muffin got one of those stings from a dying bee on the ground on her foot one day when we were walking.

I have some of that spray that is both an anesthetic and antiseptic. I forget what it is called. The anesthetic helps their little ouchies and I always keep some on hand. That was what I put on Muffin's paw.
