Babies shouldn't be outside until they've had their first shots. Being on the grass or dirt subjects them to the possibility of parasites, mosquitoes (heatworm). If you chose to take them out, maybe in an x-pen on the patio.

From birth to 8 weeks of age the only interaction should be with their mother. After that bring them into the household for socializing. But, in a confined and monitored area. Slowly introduce them to the other yorkies (females) in the household, but no male dogs. What you are doing at this time is building their confidence and males tend to deplete that.
