We recently moved into an Apt complex that took pets. I feel it was well worth the $500 deposit and extra $25 rent. It is a luxury apartment and only 1-2 years old. But I LOVE having other dogs around, it has been a lot of fun to "make friends" with the other dogs. Keeley loves hearing them bark too. He gets so excited.
We were in a non pet apt for a month as when we were in between apartments. And it sucked to have to hide him. I was so worried about him being loud, or looking out the window at the wrong time, that I don't think he was able to really be himself.
