Can you use a baby gate across the door in the bathroom? I keep mine in there during the day and that's what I do so they don't feel as confined or scratch up my door...when I come in in the afternoons they are sticking their noses through the holes barking and looking and me....mine are now 2.9 and 3.6 lbs...with a pretty good size difference...they play very hard...I just let them go until one (always the little one) cries...then I make them calm down....
