- No "complaining" or public posts of not receiving gifts allowed until after two or three weeks after the Gift Exchange deadline has passed, as there are senders who send from overseas in most GE's and those take a bit longer than domestic shipments.

I don't think there should be a cap on the amount spent. I didn't even pay attention to the amount spent and made several hand made items. I just enjoyed buying for our buddy so much that I didn't even pay attention to the amount spent. I know some pretty smart shoppers that can get alot of great things for great prices so it may appear that they'd spent over the cap.
I was wondering if there is a way for overseas participants to receive their buddy's name earlier so that they are able to shop just as long as we in US. That way when they have to ship extra early to be here by the deadline they will have had the same amount of time to have shopped for their GE as we have.
