A lot of vet's now do the day surgery on the little one's. I took Kacee in a little before 8 a.m. as I was told, but the vet didn't make it in until about 8:20, so I waited for her.

She operated on her and when I called about 10:15 a.m. to check on her, they said she did fine and was waking up. The vet had told me that I could pick her up before 5:00 p.m., which is when they close. She really did do fine. I know a lot of vets keep them overnight. I just don't think it's necessary unless there are complications or may be too many distractions in the home to take proper care of them.
