I sent my Chewy away to boot camp for 4 weeks, we had some major training issues with him and it seemed to be the answer to our prayers. I checked the place out twice, had numerous meetings with the trainer. The 4 weeks turned into 6 under the pretence that Chewy was stubborn and not responding to training as fast as he should.
Although he came back a bit better trained, the problems are still there and I'm not impressed. Plus they used a chocker collar on him and he had plenty of nicks and scabs on his neck and he was very nervous and scared. Always cringing when you went to pet him, he eventually outgrew this behavour. but I'm NOT IMPRESSED.
So - would I do it again?
- NEVER' NEVER' again.
