I bathe my three once a week, otherwise they look mangy. Besides I like to see them go all nuts running afterwards! It could be his anal glands. I have 2 males, one is 8 yrs old, one is 1 year old, and a 6 yr old female. I give them a baby raw carrot evry day, I have never had to expel thier anal glands. They don't digest them well, you will see it in thier poop as grated or chopped carrots, but doesn't hurt them, and mine love them.
