I love the richness of the darker colors and that usually means softer coats and a little (or lots) of extra grooming time. But the color and sheen is a thing of pride. If her hair gets too, too thick and you need it thinned, you can part the coat front to back in rows about 1 inch apart. The hair just below the part can be thinned with thinning shears. Happens more often that you know -, err, well, where the coat is part of the judging..
