What about dogs though? I cannot tell you how many people go out seeking an expensive breed, only to discover that their dog is in fact a fake! I know it's awful to call a dog a fake...it is in fact a dog...so lets say you spend $2,000 on a Yorkshire terrier...but then your neighbor tells you the thing is a mutt. The fact of the matter is, it's wrong, and breeders nationwide are passing off these toy mutts as pure bred.

Here is my guide...my tips...and my warnings to all of you out there looking to buy yourself or someone else a pure bred Yorkshire Terrier.

My dog is a Chihuahua yorkie mix. He resembles a 'rare black yorkie' (as the vet labeled him). In fact my pooch is a mutt...the proper term for my mutt though is a yorkchi. Nice name for a mutt right? Honest sellers though would sell him as a yorkchi...those who were looking for a quick buck though, would sell my dog as an elusive rare black yorkie and make around $2,000 by using convincing words.

My moms dog is a pure bred Chihuahua.

You get where I'm going?

My mutt (yorkchi) mates with my moms Chihuahua and what do we get? More mutts of course. But my God, these mutts are convincing. In our litter of 4 we ended up having one dog that looked 100% Chihuahua, and 3 puppy's that looked like yorkies!

In reality we have 4 mutts. However, many people who wanted to purchase the puppies were 100% convinced that these mutts were pure bred. We could have played dirty and sold our pure bred mutts as pure bred pups...but that could land us in jail. It's fraud.

Where the heck was this article when I purchased....LOL!!!!
