I am so sorry. I lost my two babies back to back six months ago. I questioned the vet's diagnosis too on my last one to go. Nothing made sense, other than my male was truly heartbroken.

If it was CHF for Georgie, there was probably not much more they could have done anyway, even if they said it was bronchitis. The coughing is often a symptom of heart disease. My first one to pass had all those things going on. We took her to a very sophistocated vet hospital where she was revived, but, even with heart meds, she only lasted about 10 days in a very bad way. It was just bad, so I put her to sleep. I feel your anger and pain, but it sounds like a misdiagnosis didn't affect the final outcome. It would have come anyway. Be at peace.
